Welcome to the 2024 High School Math Day (HSMD) at Georgia Tech! Our goal is to make math accessible, fun, and engaging for students of all levels. We hope to give students a taste of various fields of math they may not see in a classroom through problem solving rounds (suitable for all math levels!), activity stations, an invited talk, and a panel with mathematicians. We hope you can join us!
The event first started in 1958 as the High School Math Competition. The tradition was revived in 2004, and over the years has evolved to become what it is today: a joyous math festival with original math problems and original merch!
The 2024 High School Math Day was held on Saturday, March 9th, 2024. Thank you to all that came and we look forward to seeing you next year!
